Friday was a pretty crazy day. I'm getting big enough now that I popped a button on one pair of pants and decided that the other pair just like them didn't need to go through the strain anymore. So two pairs of pants got added to my stack in the closet of clothes I hope to wear again after our little boy comes.
Then I got an email from my supervisor saying that one of the girls was asking her if I was pregnant. She told this girl that was a question for me. The girl's reply "What if she's just gaining weight? I don't want to offend her" Good girl! So I finally got the guts on Friday morning to tell them all before they went to school. They were really happy and asking lots of questions. One girl was saying, "I told you to get pregnant while I was here. You should name him after me." It's all my doing....you being pregnant is really about me...... Teenagers. I waited to tell them for so long because we recently had a girl there that was pregnant. I couldn't imagine having a staff there that was pregnant at the same time and being compared to each other all the time. I thought it would be a little easier on her not to let the girls know. The funny thing is that one of the staff didn't know until last week either. (That's another really annoying story). So they all have something new to talk about for a little while. Several of them were quite impressed that I managed to hide it for so long. Thank goodness for hoodies with kangaroo pockets on the front. It is a big relief not to try to hide it anymore though.
Friday night was a really neat experience. I told Greg earlier that Baby wanted to say hi to him sometime tonight. When I was laying down for my nap Baby was kicking pretty good in his usual spot continuously. So I called Greg in and had him put his hand on that spot. Baby was kicking like crazy right away. Greg said, "Quit laughing." I said, "I'm not laughing."
Greg's hand was pretty cold so I think that helped. Baby's like "get that cold thing away from me." Greg switched to the other cold hand that convinced Baby to move and kick somewhere else.
In more news.....our new camera should be arriving on Monday. Yay for pictures!
